Corporate Directory
Available in list or chart form, and able to be filtered by country, office, department, etc. Employee photo, contact and person information can be added from About Me, LinkedIn profile, and more. Easily identifies open positions within organization via list or visuals.
Employee and Manager Self-Service
- Employee Records: easy access, review and updating of documents and records (available in native language as desired). Accommodates everything from data privacy consents to training catalogues, benefits summaries, etc.
- For Managers, adds ability to access and update performance reviews, development plans, assessments, custom reports.
Company Handbook
Via Self-Service, provides a repository of core HR documents, such as the official Company Handbook. Available for each employee to review at any time in an easily accessible portal. HR administrators have the ability to publish, with employee acknowledgments (date/time stamp), when new handbooks are released.
Applicant Tracking
Provides core recruiting processes within the overall platform. Sapien provides features such as corporate job boards, stage management, offer letters, and other document generators. Upon acceptance of an offer, employee data integrates into overall Sapien Platform.
Position and Entity Control
Sapien provides multiple hierarchy controls, including position control. At the same time, if desired, each customer can model other hierarchy controls such as person-to-person, person-to-subordinate, etc.
Organizational Charting
25+ box styles; can be customized with compensation, benefits, performance ratings, succession readiness calculations, and more. Enables viewing of the organization by position/entity control functionality, etc.
Global Employee/Position Admin, MSoR, Contingent
Included in core Sapien build and pricing, we handle MSoR and EoR globally, preparing groups, frequencies, deductions for benefits, PTO, bonuses, etc., and total compensation management. No need to pay high fees to payroll companies for this ‘managed service.’
Global Absent Management
Sapien provides the platform and experience to implement any and all Absence plans throughout the world. Accrual engine calculates (at desired frequency) not only the plan accruals, but also coordinates rollover scenarios based on your plan.
Performance Management
Sapien provides flexibility to mirror your performance management process. Security and viewing rights wrap around deep configuration of interim assessment, overall assessment, competency scoring, skills, strengths, training needs and development processes.
Compensation Management
Sapien enables customizable worksheets to be deployed to planning managers for individuals or groups. Provides ability to allocate budgets among team members with full visibility into salaries, targets, performance, potential and more. Training Administration
Builds/manages a library of courses and classes (online or virtual) for employees and managers to select to achieve their learning objectives as either a stand-alone process, or combined with a larger development plan process.
Benefits Administration
Core management and tracking of all employee benefit plans and options across Health, Income Protection, and other benefits provided by the Company. Contributions and/or pricing are calculated based on the options selected by the employee, and delineates employee cost, company and total cost with visibility determined by security settings. Census and other core benefits reports available for leaders and also displayed at the Self-Service level.

Payroll Administration
Completely payroll agnostic enabling clients to use existing/new/different payroll providers across the globe. Sapien provides global payroll administration and prepared pay groups, pay frequencies, deductions (for benefits, time off, etc.) as well as supplying total global compensation management. Global payroll providers process GTN (gross to net), tax, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Dynamic Reports
- At a glance summary and detailed reports for corporate team management…included in standard build. Customized reports, with security access parameters, can be created for individual countries, offices, departments, etc. in English or in country-specific languages.
- Over 150 standard reports, with ability to create the exact report needed by selecting objects, fields, groups, sorting protocol, styles, and more.
